I am working on a game but can’t seem to locate UV Face Select mode to make the texture visible in the game engine. I am running version 2.47 and I am wondering if they removed it. If so, How do I make textures visible in the game engine?
They did remove it. To see the texture in game mode, just switch to Textured mode (alt+Z)
Face select mode is now part of the edit mode <tab>.
Right, but how do I use it to make textures visible in the engine? I’ve tried just going to texture mode, it doesn’t work.
If you’re using GLSL mode (maybe multitextures needs this too?) you have to have a material, with the texture you want to use, on the model (as though you were going to render it)
