Can't implement cancellation for Skin?

It seems that the time of the Skin modifier increases exponentially by the number of vertices. If I click it by mistake when I should have clicked Solidify, Blender locks up for a very long time. Can’t Blender implement cancellation for it? Must Blender run it in the UI thread? If I see the Task Manager, it does not seem to use a lot of GPU but only some CPU threads.


Currently my Blender is locked up doing the Skin modifier.

I’m not aware of a way to cancel the processing of a modifier. in the future, click more precisely :wink:

If it’s locked up hard enough to post about here, just kill blender and reload the last autosave.
