Im making a bike frame with forks and all the stuff on it but i keep accidentaly pressing tab then adding a shape then it wont let me use any of the others any more can anyone tell me how to reselect them i need to edit some things but i cant until i figure out how to thanks
If you add something while in object mode it will be an object, where as adding somthing while in edit mode will add the the mesh of the current object.
You can join objects into one mesh object by selecting them then pressing CTRL-J.
If at a later date you want to seperate part of the mesh into another object, select the vertices and press P.
