Can't see Lasso, Box, or Circle Selection outlines

Hello everyone, first time poster here, and very new to Blender as well.

I’m having problems with the selection tools: whenever I try using the Lasso, Box, or Circle selectors, they work, but I can’t see an outline, which obviously makes it difficult to tell which points I’m selecting. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I’ve found a couple of other threads on similar subjects in the forum archives, but none of them seem to have been resolved.

This is a common graphic card issue. See if there are updates to your card drivers. The issue seems to be better in the blender 2.5 versions so you may have to put up with it until you make the version upgrade
