Another lockdown project…
It has been a long time since I have done a car scene so I thought I’d mix it up a little.
Created in Blender 2.9.


Great model work. I also enjoy the evening light on the scene.

Yeah, I tried to make it so the tyres looked slightly deflated too, which helps cars like this tackle rough terrain!

What tire rubber shader is look like? I always had a problem to make it realistic like yours.

No tracks ? would have expected some, the model looks like teleported in the middle of nowhere.
Things like tires are way too clean, also missing a lot of dust everywhere else.

Thanks for the feedback! There is actually tracks that lead up to where the car is parked, but it wasn’t pronounced enough now that I look.
There is already quite a lot of dust haha, didn’t want to overdo the effect.

I use a sort of surface variation texture through a color-ramp for the roughness map, and a bevel shader into the normal, as it is easier than trying to geo-bevel the whole tyre.
