Car texture issue - combine different paints on a model (methods)

Hi BA,

I’m working on a car texture. A section of the car is chameleon-like paint (node group A), and a section is a different paint (node group B). I’ve used alphas in their fac slots to make both groups like a puzzle piece. All I need to do now is combine them. What’s the easiest method?


Since they sound like two completely different materials, I would just create whatever mask is needed, then just shader mix between them.

Thanks for that, used the mix shader and connected a texture to the fac.
