if I go to the site I can download the .3cd files and import them into the blender program. I also followed the link to: Thetrailers’park and downloaded some .bvh files. excellent animation tests using mocap.
i think someone will have to make another addon… like
“pose library”
only this will be
“mocap library…”
a default rigify rig will already have all the mocaps synched to it,
and have seamless system to add more.
you need to be able to have multiple mocaps in the same blend file and read to use whenever you want…
ideally, these mocaps should be a part of blender or in an addon zip package that you can download and install…
because for instance, if you have a character do a walk cycle, then you want him to do a “run Cycle”
then a “fall” then a “jump” then a “cartwheel” then a “back flip” then a “somersault” you will need to have all this mocap data accessible and at you fingertips, you want these mocaps seamless and linked/synched to rig by default, and have a system that makes it easy to add and link/sync more mocaps to your rig…
if you want to render it all in one sequence(opengl For instance fast render)
The rigify rig is pretty good, seems to be a logical choice, for someone to come up with something.
