Casting a Shadow on Transparent Plane

Hello Everyone:

I was just watching this (very short) tutorial on Creating An Infinite Ground Plane:

The tutorial is done in a pre-2.59 version, and I can’t find the “Z-Transparency” or “Only Shadow” in the Shaders old parts he refers to.

Can someone please help me learn the new way these things are done?

Look in the material settings Transparency and Shadow panels for the ground plane


this is the materials properties [probably on the right] which Richard refers to.

you will have to scroll down of course, to the panels you are after.
