Since Blender 2.80 (and now 2.81) has been released, calling this category the Blender 2.8 category is going to make less and less sense as time goes on. That said, it’s still a very useful category to keep around.
With that in mind, we’ve renamed this category to Blender Development Discussion. This is the category you come to discuss the latest developments with Blender: talking about testing nightly builds, feature ideas, and general talk about how roadmaps and Blender is being coded.
Basically… the conversations you’re already having still go here. We’ve just given it a name that makes more sense.
