caustic in blender internal

I look at blender internal renderer and raytrace is nice. but i read some post about caustic. is it already available in a build?

because sss is now in blender but not caustic. and i din t see recent buid with this feature. and the post is quit old.

It works beautifully:

You have to enable transparent shadows for the caustic receiving materials and only spot lights with ray shadows enabled can cast caustics. You enable ray shadows on the spot’s Shadow and Spot tab (material buttons) then you’ll get a button that’s labled FakeCaustics.
