Hey, used to use blender, but this is my first model in about a year, tell me what you think.

thanks, very cool

The texture that’s supposed to represent the fabric is just a stucci right? Well…it doesn’t really look right. It’s almost like they’re made of mashed potatoes and doesn’t really fit with the whole “cell shaded” idea, which has very little texture in it at all.

The speaker covers do look a little bit out of place… almost like they were added as an afterthought. What if you took them off and revealed the speaker inside (more modeling, I know, but not too difficult)?

Yeah, i added that in at the end cause i wasn’t sure what to use for the texture.

Yeah, I might give that a go.

Better start than mine.

Did you use blenders renderer or an external renderer? If it was the blenders internal; how did you make it render out as 2D-Cell?

Nice work, but yea, the speaker covers could use a diff. texture (or tile the shit out of what you got and take off specular decay).

kthx

I just used the edge tools and moved some lights about for a bit untill i liked it.

I don’t realy like cell shading, but it’s pretty good. You do need to sort out those speaker covers though.
