Celtic Knotwork WIP

I made this using a bezier curve along with bevel object. I created control points at ever intersection and moved them forward or backward to weave the knot under or over. I just noticed I got it wrong on one spot. That’ll be easy enough to fix.

After this, I want to work on the border knots to frame the image and work on some more appropriate materials for this.

Needs another level of subsurf, and some of the sharp corners need a tweak but its quite cool. Any particular purpose? Is it for a logo or something?

That is a cool idea for a project - did you have in mind to convert to mesh after you are done, or leave it as a curve object? Only crit I would offer right now is to check your render resolution versus the default resolution - it looks like you could use a little more where it seems to get the polygon like edges. Nothing else to point out, other than this is really cool and should make for a nice picture when you are done.

i agree with craigomatic: it is particularly visible on the top section of the surrounding circle…
I ve spotted the error too !
