Should video games be censored?
(And why do I suddenly get the feeling this will become a flamewar?)
Well, id say no, since if the game had something that shouldnt be seen, what’s the point of even putting it into the game…?
I want to see more sex in video games and make sure everyone can get there hands on it.

Hmm… lemme think twice… Making people (or practicing it), or killing/injuring people… hmmm… this is a tough one… I think I have to go for violence, I can’t really think of anything bad coming from sex (other than overpopulation, for what for we have this nifty thing called “birth control”).

And I really, really wonder how on earth USA can be so hypocritical about sex and violence. The other is controlled, feared and frantically opposed by quite a lot of folks to the point that you can’t show anything on tv that might provoke “unvanted thoughts”, whilt another one is openly viewed as a good way of dealing with problems…

argh, censorships piss me off. I really see no reason for them. They are afraid that we will ‘mix up reality with games’ and then go around killing people. IMHO this is BS. As for sex, are they afraid that we will go around having as much sex as possible? well, er … yeah, like i said… BS…

Well, as long as im not playing the game for the “mature” content, I dont mind…but i dont like the idea of younger kids (like my lil brother) playing my GTA3 game…i think he’s still young enough to be influenced by it…

but yea, it don’t really work but anyway they can’t censore mature content in a mature game… :-?
I think that kids 10 and under shouldn’t be allowed to play video games, but after that the kids usually can stay not affected by the games.
Sometimes in games there are just some stuff that’s so gross or so wrong that it never should have been put in there in the first place. If a game would need to be censored it shouldn’t even be published.
