Chain and Physics problem

Hi all! I have recently started using blender, and it is fantastic. I am currently modelling a weapon to be used in a game later on. The weapon is a flail-like weapon with a spikey ball on a chain. I tested the physic out on the chain and found it hung quite well. I then added the spikey ball onto the chain. When I position the chain and ball upwards, so that the spikey ball will swing when I turn the physics sim on, the spikey ball slides slowly off the chain when it reaches the first apex. This was happening with the chain itself before but that problem ceased and if I am to do animations with this I don’t want the spikey ball flying off. It’s driving me crazy, so any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need anyy more details please let me know :smiley:
