Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week and will be featured in the Feature Row.”

Btw.: Comments are welcome in both threads (entries/voting). Have fun!

“Poverty-Stricken Printer”

Story: when all of humanity switches to screens, iPads, and other sources of “electronical paper,” all the printers are forced to the streets, out of a job. This scene is a poor homeless, jobless printer, down on his luck.

Open: LEGO pieces imported from Mecabricks (scene made by myself), custom decals created in Photoshop, and tree GOBO was created myself.

Created with Blender 3.4. 500 samples.

Was fun to get creative with what I could make using the prompt “Printer.”

Here’s my entry - EXTRA, EXTRA!

Pure, Cycles - I used paint to dummy up the front page, and then Gimp to make the inverse for the print drum (and screen capture for the newspaper mug shot)

I see RobUnderwood and I fall into the category “great minds think alike…”

I wish the control panel was bigger, but that printing drum trick is pure genius! Nice work!
