Challenge #105 Entries (18/06/04) CLOSED

Theme #105 for 18 june 2004 is: Light

Entries closes at 2100 GMT -5 Monday, 21 june 2004.

I tried not to make a logical object, such as a lamp. But just a scene, with interesting lighting.
Or I’m just five wc’s behind…
I used M@dcows skymap, the glow plugin and the zblur plugin.
Go ahead now: www.freewebs.com/m3d/wc105.htm
The next time there will be trees btw

And I found the reason the Zblur doesn’t always work: The plugin won’t work when you render just a small piece of your screen (with shift b). Deselect “border” in the renderbuttons.

GreetZ, BackiZ

Placeholder i guess, cool topic, there will be some cool entries. Very braud topic. :stuck_out_tongue:

nice idea, tough to convey but anyway - i’m in

I couldn’t resist the temptation.
I know it’s a crappy render, I’ll probably render a better version later this day.
Pure blender - no raytracing or AO - Old fashion.

Nice topic. I may try and come up with something, If I have the time.

I’ve got my head in the game engine so I wil probably do something half assed, but it sounds like an interesting one, so what the hey.
<edit> I probably will not finish on time though i suppose it’s possible.

ANYwho, I’m in.

Edit:

Every topic needs its stupid entry, and that’s where I come in. I give you a yellow cube with interesting lighting.

99% Blender, text in Photoshop.

It’s a pure entry

Sorry for being dumb, but will someone explain the purpose of these place-holders? :expressionless:
What’s wrong with just getting in at the end of the line?

Over the shoulder placeholder holder.

Brian

I used to wonder the same thing.

I read somewhere in challenge rules, that if people put placeholders down, then its supposed to make Theeths job easier when constructing the voting thread.

marvellous topic, but no time this weekend (I’ll go on the mountains where no internet can come… luckily)
