Pure entry, made in blender 3.6 cycles. Following the discussions about the purity of our votes, my mind went back to @Photox 's famous entry. It was the new years and I spent hours and hours creating a scene, my lighting of course sucked because anything remotely interesting would cause my render to be noisy. Along he comes with what I can only describe as a ‘after a night of partying and drinking’ entry, and wins hands down. I dedicate this to his party bear

I will say it’s a pure entry. The tentacle is an old model but it only took a few minutes to add it to the scene and the rest of the time was spent creating all the new models.
Strangely enough I couldn’t get the assets browser fur/hair to play nice with the texture I painted for the fur markings. It just looked a mess when rendered. So I used the old particle system for the fur and with exactly the same shader setup it renders as intend. Weird.
