“There are two main goals for these contests: Fun and Glory.
Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week and will be featured in the Feature Row.”
Forced myself to make a vehicle. Don’t look too close!
And I know there are going to be Star Wars fans complaining that the angle and colour isn’t true to the original, but I think this looks clearer.

No time this week. Ideas: the heart of the island from Lost, the cave of giant crystals in the Naica mine, a cave city where buildings resemble cave formations, stalactites but one is subtly different – it is a tentacle.
Blender 4.1 cycles pure entry. Simple entry, yet with a one hour render time, all thanks to the clouds. The lighting was more complicated than it usually is, had to get into light linking: One group just for the sun, another just for the clouds, and another for everything else. The clouds and cave were both sculpted.
I can recommend this method for making clouds: https://youtu.be/mBO0H1gvz5M?si=R199KGPwP-dyF2Bs. I used it for the Blender skull grotto render. It was very simple and yet allowed for good artistic control. Only tried it in cycles though.
Cycles. I think this counts as pure? (Sky texture was from Pixabay, and two rock materials were from BlenderKit. Did a tiny bit of painting in Procreate because I got impatient :P)
Returning to the Weekend Challenge after taking a short 6-year break from Blender. I forgot how fun these are!
