They must have made a mistake, as blender 2.2.2 did not have Eevee.
Yes, I’m sure that Edison cashed in on the invention ![]()
Indeed! I waited about a century before publishing it. Just in case. ![]()
Oh wait, I made a typo mistake: I meant 3.2.2. not 2.2.2. Sorry for any confusion. ![]()
No worries.
I just got curious. I watched a really old tutorial the other day that I think might have been blender 2 and it is quite remarkable how much it has evolved. Still people were able to make really cool stuff at that time.
For everyone interested in time travel: The old releases are still available. ![]()
Ring Habitat
Open. Blender 4.0 Cycles.
I might work more on it, the foreground sucks, but have spent a few hours on it, and oughta take a break.
My “Ring of Fire”
Open (the flame is from Pexels.com). It is really nothing special however.
Blender 2.93, rendered in cycles.
The Ring of Nature
pure
Sadly the original mp4 file with sounds was to big but here is the link to it:
The Flying Donut-man
" ‘Radial Drive Ship’ was the much cooler official name, though the crews prefered to name it with the Captain’s favorite food."
Non-competing. Kitbash work using own assets, forming the circular shape was quite a challenge as the parts are mostly not curved. Blender + Cycles + Gimp + DaVinci Resolve.
Clay render :
“One Ring blah blah blah”
Pure. Just with some added grain in AE.
I know it makes no sense for him to be seated in his throne in full armour - I’d planned a different scene, but ran out of time.
On a different note, I’m sure some of you will be happy to hear that this will be my last entry for the foreseeable future.
Happy Blendering, everyone!
Wow some of these are starting to look like my CGboost monthly challenge entries ![]()
Nice! Why no more entries? I am sure you will be missed. You pushed the quality to a new level imho.
Thank you very much. Coming from you, that really is high praise!
I’m moving back to England at the end of this week, after 10 years of living in Asia, and I’m not sure how long it’s going to take to get things in order.
So many creative and great looking entries this time!
I had a feeling this would be an interesting topic. Well played @Trentle ![]()
Good luck! I’m not sure if that’s possible with a move of this size, but may it be a stress-free one. And once the dust has settled, the Weekend Challenge will be here, waiting for you. ![]()
