“There are two main goals for these contests: Fun and Glory.
Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week and will be featured in the Feature Row.”
I had that one on my list too! It would have been a nice opportunity to sneak a utah teapot into the challenge.
My first idea was creating something related to a song about the German 1920s serial killer Fritz Haarmann, but “nursery rhyme” didn’t feel exactly right and I wasn’t in the mood for something that dark.
From the nursery rhyme… Mary had a little lamb,
Some peas and carrots,
Toast and jam.
Pure, cycles
Clockface and Timmy are pictures downloaded from the internet (and fixe up in paint.) Woodgrain also from internet.
(There’s also… Hickory, dickory, dock,
Three mice ran up the clock.
The clock struck one…
The other two escaped with minor injuries.
There’s this too… but I can’t fit it into the picture. Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey,
Along came a spider,
And sat down beside her,
so she squished it with her spoon. )
Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir,
Three bags full;
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.
Based on the Finnish rhyme “Sininen uni” (blue dream) and the Sandman
I’m busy with nodevember so nothing is really new (except the bed and pillow). Everything else comes from older works or add-on (the head)
But I wanted to hand in something since I really love the topic
