If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.
Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.
Unbelievable, either people seriously disliked this or, this occurred during a particularly bad period of time. Either way, I can always brag that I finished 3rd in this week’s challenge

It could also be connected to the flu going around lately. I’ve read reports from many different places around the world, so this really doesn’t seem to be a local issue. Stay healthy, everyone.
At least two people are off to the chasm’s call but I agree flu is going on, half of the department I’m working is either sick or at home because of some symptoms
Removing the first paragraph made the rest of the comment basically nonsensical, so I’ll just delete the rest myself. And while I’m at it, I’ll delete all future comments, posts, etc made by myself. I apologise for not realizing that Doctor Who was “off-topic”. Or that things which have nothing to do with actual politics can be considered political.
