I too feel this week’s theme lends itself to silliness. Silliness all the way! :sunglasses:

At that time the moon was still a little rough around the edges and nobody wanted to fly there.

I know it looks kinda cheesy, but at least I’m slowly getting away from the default scene, one byte at a time.

For this weeks entry, I wanted to recreate a scene from Wallace And Gromit.

I modelled the rocket from scratch, but found a model on BlendSwap for the Wallace model (link below).

Throughout the whole weekend I failed to see the connection between this week’s theme and the Artemis expedition

the moths’ moon

Imagine a moth saying to its friend, ‘I love the full moon,’ while flying toward a lantern on a cloudy night. The friend nods excitedly, and they start dancing around the light. Soon, countless moths gather around the lantern, all dancing together through the night. To this day, they call it the Full Moon Party.
In a philosophical sense it seems, moths are not that different from people.

For building a moon-like glass material, I followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bBCZwkp8ww

To the Moon!

Open entry. Blender 3.6.21, EEVEE render. Had lots of issues to overcome with this one.

Nice work so far for everyone!!

I always try to add some silliness to my works. It would be silly to not do so.
