I wasn’t able to make it before the deadline because my computer has been rendering my scene since the day before yesterday. It’s slowly finishing the render now, and I’ll still share what I’ve made, even though I won’t be able to participate in this week’s competition. ^^

I don’t understand why anyone would flag @mali_zweipunktnull image. It’s obvious what is taking place in that image. Whoever flagged it fell for this stupid prank

Volumes and fluids can really screw up rendering times How long was it at the end?

Considering I used multiple render layers, I’d say it easily took around 20 hours of rendering—not counting all the crashes and failed renders x). I must’ve gone through five or six versions before getting this final result.

From a woman’s perspective, I personally don’t think the entry is harmful.
What I do find a little problematic is that the same picture, if it featured a woman, would probably be considered against the guidelines. But that’s a different story.

What @fraukwatsch probably was referring to, could be the fact, that a female in her natural ‘let “it” go’ position probably could not be pictured like that male in the picture we have seen, without being considered nfsw or something related according to the guidelines, which is kind of sad. But that is more a general thing about society which one could consider as a problem, than local to this forum.
I read it as something to think about, not as a critique on your moderation decisions, and even if it was meant as such, I cannot fully understand that you seem to be (kind of) attacking her personally about that. Maybe you could also “be better” in that regard?
Where I agree with you is that maybe we should not ‘stir the pot up’ more about this topic! We all, including @Frau_Kwatsch , seem to agree that we don’t consider the entry harmful. Besides the person who flagged this anonymously and did not explain theirselfes, but that’s also o.k. for me (and to be expected for a corner case like this)

Show me where in our guidelines or anywhere on this site. It has ever been stated in any way that women and their portrayal thereof are treated differently than men. If that has ever happened or been said, that’s a very serious issue. If it hasn’t happened, and you guys are just making up random scenarios for no good reason, don’t. Save your energy for something that matters, like an actual problem, not something you just made up.
Accusations of discrimination or unfair treatment are not something you can just casually throw out and then say" oh, it’s just a hypothetical ". If you have a real, legitimate complaint, bring it up and we will work to remedy it immediately. Otherwise, this is performative nonsense.
Enough with this “probably” crap. Put up or shut up, as they say. That’s not a suggestion, misinformation is not allowed here, and stating things like" this site is probably discriminatory towards women" is absolutely not allowed under any circumstances unless you have serious proof to back up those serious allegations

Also I should have done better research before. For what I know now, I’m happy with the amount of freedom the forum guidelines give, seams totally reasonably to me, and in the half year I’m visiting the forum now I never found evidence of unfair treatment
