what eyes?
If you look at it the right way, it’s like the the pumpkin has 3 tiny eyes carved out.
Wrong on Every Level
Pure
Wood and metal materials (sligthly modified) from Blenderkit.
At first, I had a similar idea as @TazDevyl about an elevator that was out of order but I changed my mind and moved focus to the control panel and just having the buttons out of order (in the same sense as @NeilJamesFrarey ) . I never stops to amaze me how much time can be spent on tweaking the lighting for a rather simple model. ![]()

it works well - the lighting is lovely ![]()
I had SO many ideas, unfortunately, most involving people. I can do faces a little, but bodies not so much. So, it would have been disembodied heads. Which I guess would have also fit the theme, I suppose.
I put on my archaeology hat and did some digging, but no luck!
Happy to see weekend challenges are still an ongoing tradition though
WC’s were a big part of my formative years as a young artist when I was first learning blender
Thank you Helge for carrying the torch!
Title: Out of Sorts

The wood material is procedural except for the dust and scratches, which use images for masks. The metal type sorts were generated with geometry nodes, and then packed into the case with geometry nodes as well. The packing is not very sophisticated so there’s a little overlap here and there. Had fun doing it anyway!
Thanks for trying! After all these years, the odds weren’t exactly great, but it was worth a try. ![]()
