Lemmings:
If a area gets overpopulated by lemmings, they’ll commit mass suicide during migration, leaving only the social outcast’s behind. These will then repopulate the area again. Where upon the cycle begins again…
Grrrrr… after a bit of fact searching, it appears this is merely a myth. They dont commit mass suicede. :mad: ohh well time for a hitchikers guide to the universe quote “Often reality and the hitchhikers guide to the universe will be at odds with each other, in such a case reality has got it wrong…”
Edit 2 - Yes i know i’ve passed time limit. Even so…i would still like to post the image. And besides, now i know what excuse to use as to why i didnt win the WC

Crap, great entry Robert. How did you do it? Like literally.
particle system…he probably rotated and scaled and keyframed all the designs…
trak wrecka: Nope, no particles.
cerin: Thanks! This was done mainly with manually edited Bezier curves and then converted to mesh, resulting in just over 300k verts. It took a while to get everything in place and look just right, but that’s the very reason this project appealed to me, because it contained a challenge other than ones I typically face in other projects
