Sonix entry is a great as well as bogbean’s.
The latter reminds me of the paintings of Max Ernst.
Finally, I gave my vote to bogbean because the cape is simply better.

Thanks very much, everyone, for your kind words (and votes)! Here’s hoping I’ll have time in the future to enter more of these. Probably not this weekend, though.
My picture was inspired by my recent reading of “Beowulf” – hence the somewhat relative definition of superhero – and by the devil-may-care attitude presented by the soon-to-be hapless alien in muzzy’s entry (which I liked quite a bit). It didn’t hurt that I knew I couldn’t make a decent cape (like the other two caped entries), either.
And I too would like to see my pic animated, but I haven’t quite gotten that far on the Blender Learning Curve… yet.
well, i realized that i missed a few key elements of being a super hero, the cape, and the enemy that would obviously obliterate the “superhero”.
well eventhough i didnt get one single vote :x its ok, cuz it was fun, im going to try to enter some more of these, and maybe one day, ill win, and choose an awesome topic. lol… maybe.
