Don’t worry, there is always another year (probably).
When researching ‘victimless crime’ I stumbled upon the principle of ‘Straflosigkeit der Selbstschädigung’ (impunity of self-harm). Which reminded me of a strange mental disorder called ‘Autophagia’ and a german type of vampire called ‘Nachzehrer’. But this seemed to be a little too dark, so I went with the grape-creature.
This is where my vote went, as well. I just like this sort of characters and it is a brilliant interpretation of the theme as it twists the victim/criminal perspective in a very nice way.
