it’s famous in the world of the animals to be able to dance to the song of the byrds: ‘the lion sleeps tonight’!

Lived
The scientists who discovered this specimen spent so much time argueing over exactly what species it was related to; It had enough time to slip away, and was never found again.

lemmy
It’s a Regal Photochromic-winged insect! It has huge wings and long antennae. It’s not in a jungle, but that’s where it originated.

I went with Lived based on his interesting modelling technique.

My god this is a difficult one… I think I’m going with Giba for it’s lighting and overall personality. But man, this is tough…

GREAT work everyone!

Giba, I voted for you. Great bug character  Lots of cool entries. Too bad you didn’t get to finish yours, Modron. That looked promising.

Robertt

I voted for Idgas 'cuz I liked the lighting and the mask. :stuck_out_tongue: It was very hard to pick one though, there are several I really like. So many entries [!]

Hey, thanks for the vote Modron. I wish you’d had a chance to finnish your bug, its got a lot of potential.

my vote goes to vamp21b
great grass!

I voted for the one that I would least like to have running around in my sheets: Lived’s entry.

Since we all have made bugs, don’t forget, in python and plugins, there is a script that automatically calculates an insect walk cycle for you. I think it’s called ‘insect walk’. [!]

I voted for Robertt. Great image also, Giba!

Alexandre Rangel

Idgas, though giba’s is wonderful… his charecters are always well modeled.

I voted for Giba because of his comical caracter and the great atmosphere.

Thanks, Alexandre! I really appreciate that. Oddly enough though I don’t seem to have any votes yet according to the website. :expressionless:

RobertT

it was offline just a moment ago, so it can be that he was planning on voting for you and then the site went offline.
Same thing happend to me when I wanted to vote for Giba

Giba… got my vote… very original!

If he hadn’t been so original and I’d have looked at modelling/atmosphere… koudejongen… you’d have gotten my vote… great job!

Looks like its gonna be another super-close one.

I voted for Koudejongen, since it was the entry that creeped me out the most. God i hate bugs…

I almost voted for Scorpy because that thing is so bizzarely hilarious. Really surreal, i loved it.

But overly creepiness had to win out.

wow pretty awsome entries this week. Looks like im pulling up 3rd place  one of these times i’m going to blow away the competition.
HAHAHAHAHAHA(evil laugh) :stuck_out_tongue:

Very good Job, Giba! This insect is perfect! Nice atmosphere, modelling and very creative!

Cheers,

Marcanth

Very nice insect, Giba! The shapes are so cool and original.
You got my vote. 8)

Wow, this is close :-? There were a lot of awsome entries this week. Good work everyone.
