Great entries everyone! Good luck on votes and there is some hard choices here.

Very nice entries indeed, well done! My vote goes to DSLR Lens cutaway by abdoubouam. This was exact the kind of entry I was aiming for. Just love the technical shananigans what is going on there. Have to mention Planet Cutaway by icyou520 as well, such a clean render. Amazing.

@unyxium; U did some great improvents. The style of ur artwork kind of reminds me of artwork by Paul Riehle, have u seen his work? https://twitter.com/paulriehle/status/1021125532807618560

so many great entries, not even sure which one to vote to.
to bad i couldnt participate

Some feedback:

FlyingBanana: Those cookies will look really cute! They are just a bit too well aligned.

icyou520: Surreal. Interesting how the clouds remained in the cut section. A bit weird, but interesting. One thing that bothers me a bit is that the core should be glowing.

nadal1: Poor alien! I liked how it looks all jelly and flexible. The important parts stand out nicely due to saturation.

abdoubouam: Very well detailed, I had no idea that lenses were so complex!

beau11: It feels like they are going :fist_right: :fist_left:. Funny idea.

purbosky: I liked the dozens of tiny spikes. The lighting is also pretty good, drawing the eyes nicely towards the centre while also calling attention to the details.

unyxium: I imagine a situation where a customer saw a cutaway illustration of the house, and was quite surprise to see it was not a cutaway
I liked the overall chaos of the debris and how the painting is turned a bit.

Sci-fi-guy: Haha, I had no idea radios had rock stars inside them
The radio model is very nice, I just think the spotlight and the laser lights are a bit weird: The spotlight seems pixelated, and the lasers don’t seem to be illuminating the environment.

fcharr: I liked the colours, specially how it is blue on the edges and yellowish in the middle. The model is looking better, I just think she looks a bit too muscular (although that is not necessarily wrong) and her hands look a bit too big in relation to the arm.

parclite: Looks very tasty, and the colours are helping on that. The cake feels very soft too. I just think the filling pattern is a bit too regular (that is, perfect rectangles).

OLG: Ouch, guess we know how that unicorn died! It’s amazing the horn is still intact after breaking the rock in half. I liked how the horn looks magical.

RayVelcoro: The interleaved wires look interesting and complex. This would make for a nice statue.

Helge: Spooky. I wonder if the plant swallowed a skull, or if that is its own skull. I liked how the dark material looks moist, it would even look tasty if it weren’t for the creepy skull

RobertT: I really liked how you told a story over multiple panels without using any words. I had to see it multiple times to understand it, but it was worth it!

Photox: Haha, a recursive rocket! I guess the engineers were trying to post-pone actually developing the rocket
I really liked the fire.

@Millani LOL thanks for the input. Yeah I figured that would be an issue but as I was currently trying to get another one of my projects done. (currently at the moment baking and not cookies either) But yeah had I spent more time on it I probably would have actually added more detail to the dough and some already with chocolate chips in them on a plate.

Thanks, hopefully I’ll give her a rest for a while  I’m thinking of starting over with fresh topology. Practise makes perfect

And… the winner of Weekend Challenge 787 with 23% of the votes is… nadal1!
Here’s to all the great participators…

Alien Cutaway

Congrats on the win @nadal1 ! Poor easterbunny alien. Hopefully that is just the suit.

@nadal1, Congrats! Nicely done.

@Millani, thanks, that made me chuckle. Thanks for the feedback.

I’m sorry, I shared this with my workmates, and they voted for me. I did not deserve to win. But thank You anyway.
