“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.”
―Obi-Wan Kenobi
Oh, ok,… never mind. Everything is just fine again.
“I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day.” – Aragorn
I think you can improve the readability and the composition by increasing the density of your particle system in front of the flasks. By the way, I think you can add a very small amount of random rotation to the white pills to add a little bit more of diversity :).
All new models with armature on spider for full pose-ability. About an hour to do the models and about 2-3 for the materials. Still my weak point.
Post processed for border and brightness with 3rd party software.
Edit: Updated the image. Millani, thanks for the critique. I added some reddish brown SSS and more cobwebs. Can’t have enough cobwebs. The spider material I believe is slightly better but its still not right. I may play with it later. The model does have hair but I guess I made them too fine.
Still busy with the splines over here, so I came up with a snake head, 250 samples, some color corrections in PS. Pure I guess. Tell me what you think of it plz!
The bird model and the feathers material are looking really good. Also, your image has a very strong composition. I think you can add some small extra details (such as some grass blades) among the moss to balance it a bit and make it look even better.
Strong story, and the models are amazing. The only thing bothering me a bit is the bright spot on the top right, since it is calling too much attention.
