If anyone is trying to figure out inspiration for this one here is a nice little site that has some great idea stimulating images for this weeks theme.

Very nice! I really like the “Land of the free” RVs. :slight_smile:

I’m looking forward to all the entries we will come up with.

As always a lovely theme! I decided to do a glass render. Pretty simple scene set-up. A spline with a uv projected voronoi texture + some particles. Lots of samples and composing (within Blender) final color corrections in PS. Pure. Hope you like it;

Love

Nope Rope

Pure, competing, Cycles, 128 Samples, All procedural textures

Reddit and ArtStation recently reminded me that I’ve been meaning to try make a procedural Snake skin material. Well, here it is, not a fancy scene, but the material was fun to make. :slight_smile:

Harder subject than last week but:

Plumbing!

Still need quite a few materials touch up, but i’m not sure i’ll have enough time for it this weekend.

@icyou520 and @RayVelcoro, pretty colors !

(RayVelcoro) #15

thx a lot!

I like ur entry, please try and give ur scene a (extra) lighting like you can find in this .blend, I think it might work out quite exciting;

lighting.blend (602.1 KB)

I spent so much time on toning my entry… I just can’t decide what is most appealing. I like it in a more softer toning also a lot;

“Impressing the Fireflies”

Pure entry.

Edit 1: whoops, didn’t do the version I had added stars to. Still a WIP

Edit 2: Went a different direction than I was intending and had some fun with some purposeful fireflies on the ground. Maybe still a WIP? There’s one more thing I’d like to tweak.

Cycles, 1024 samples, no NR.

Open (Used Photoshop to adjust contrast) . . . first time I’ve ever entered one of these things . . . this is just a quick concept design using the font Dali.
