Had to double tick about the theme… Wait… did i win ? that’s the theme i had in mind !
Well, Have fun and good luck everyone.
Made in blender
Thanks @beau11 , @purbosky and everyone!
Nice, i like the black on white one (bottom)
Why not do both in a yin yang style?
Both, just mirror the bottom one.
Do it in @beau11 style : pick the bottom one, add sea/lake background, in sunset/sunrise time.
its just a silhouette though, not really “contrast”. Kinda of a lazy entry
So this is a WIP of my entry for this week
It has no name and I have no idea what it is yet
Its´s pure so far and only 2 meshes in the scene, enjoying procedural modelling!
Not 100% sure what I’ll do with it, play with materials and lighting I guess…
What you all think?
I was actually thinking of doing something like this
Oh ok…Well it’s your opnion thought but I will do some more research
Pure Entry 500 Samples and going to call this one…
It’s beautiful! but I agree that it needs more lighting it also reminds me of fungi stuff that grows in tree barks
Ps: your image has a funny name but I think some people are not gonna like it
Description: A planet phasing into existance
This image was rendered in blender internal (node shader). Interestingly, this isn’t the image I wanted to make. It’s a flipped negative sign in a fresnel effect in the atmosphere of the planet, but I liked the result and rendered it out. I finished up my original idea for the image, but upon review I preferred this one. So this is what it is.
I’m really going to miss playing with the non-physically-correct-artistic-stuff when the 2.8 is released and BI goes away.
My entry is pretty simple this week, it’s a open entry. Maybe I’ll add some DOF later.
Wow! that’s a lot of work
If you do it manually it sure is. But when using the add-on CubeSter its only a few mouse clicks away. Render it with the AO pass enabled and ur already halfway there.
