After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared: The voting will close on: Wed, Nov 21, 2018 11:00 PM.
The winner picks the theme for next week.

If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.

Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.

Heads up, it only lets you pick two not three on this one for some reason.

Actually, this has been limited on purpose. For now, the number of votes per voter depends on the number of competing entries. (Based on some discussions a few weeks back.)

Wow this is some good work these creators did good work guys…

(Green3d) #5

Very interesting entries, nice work.

Good work everyone! :+1:

(FlyingBanana) #7

@GIPeN thanks to your entry I have had that “CAPTAIN CAAAAAAAAAVEEE MAAAAAANNNN” Running through my head for the past couple days. Totally brought back memories of my Saturday cartoon watching days as a kid. I almost did a Jabber Jaws when I was scrapping my Stan Lee entry.

(Millani) #8

@Helge The title of my entry is actually “Atomic Superstar”.

(Helge) #9

Ouuups… I mean, ZAP! POW! BOOM!.. CHANGED!

(Millani) #10

@purbosky I think you managed to capture the idea of comics very well. Several wild adventures in the most magical and fantastical worlds, all so believable if the reader has enough imagination!
The background could be a bit more sophisticated (maybe some stars for the ships), but the image looks pretty neat as it is.

(Francisco Charrua) #11

funny thing, I voted for both your entries

And… the winner of Weekend Challenge 804 with votes from 35.1% of the voters is… GIPeN!
Here’s to all the great participators…

Captain Caveman

(GIPeN) #13

Wooo thank you very much for the votes!

Great works all! hope you like my theme for this weekend

Well done GIPeN, great job!

(purbosky) #15

Thanks @Millani, agree about the bg, too busy taking care of the various fg elements. My first idea was to make a comic panel/strip, btw. Was also thinking about making a render style like your entry but didn’t go well. Thanks too @fcharr, I wonder what superpower the low-poly man has… :slightly_smiling_face:

Congrats @GIPeN, such a close race! :+1:

(Helge) #16

Maybe some kind of decimate- or remesh-ray shooting out of his hands.

(purbosky) #17

Also a magic touch that cancels out subsurf modifiers and the like.

(FlyingBanana) #18

Congrats on the win @GIPeN brought back memories as a kid.

(joshwinkler3d) #19

Congrats @GIPeN that was my favourite entry - good job to everyone else :+1:

(Green3d) #20

nice entry GIPeN.
