Since the Blender 2.8 beta was officialy released today, I gave it a try … and I am very impressed, the tools are the same, but the experience is beyond comparison from before. - I can´t wait for the final release:D …

To be honest, I’ve never tasted this cake in real life, so I don’t really know about the flavors. It’s just that I remembered I already have some references of cake pictures and came across this one. Some early attempts including chocolate bar and waffle, before finally going with the egg pudding/custard pudding (only just knew its names upon browsing). Will try to add a story too.

Maybe if the river was made of chocolate, some candy canes down the path, and sweets hanging from the bushes? Should mean you could fit it in the theme without too much changes

From a Dessert to a Date
Pure entry. Cycles 128 samples + denoising, using procedural textures. Lighting using HDR image from HDRIhaven.com and a subtle sun lamp.
Making good model of food is as hard as it is in the real world, hope it looks edible enough, lol.
