Another week in the books.

Flying Bannana: Supply Deslivery Mishap

That is definitely a mishap, There is no one around to claim the supplies. I really like how the rocks look. Great job shading. I also like the parachute laying on the rocks. Did you use cloth sim for that?

Maelys031: Jumping or not?

Great concept, I have seen some Nat Geo episodes and the crazy places these mountain goats go. Nice job on the fur and the dawn lighting.

3dnotguru: Thin red line

This picture gives me anxiety Great job all the way around. I like how you did the snow on the mountains. Also the rope looks really good. Congrats on the win. Oh and you got my vote.

PyBlend: Falling Bonsai

Awesome job making a scene with just cubes. I like the colors you used and the sudo pixalated bonsai tree. The red, orange, and yellow blocks all remind me of Starburst. Now I want a Starburst. Good Job.

RayVelcoro: Cliffhanger

What the Effin Eff is going on here!?

Milani: What’ll be of 1-CBD?

Hmmmm why is that robot stealing tires? And I didn’t realize CBD can help robots too, although CBD in California might be something completely different. I really like the textured wall in back. Nice Job

Joshwinkler3d: I have a great idea…

Well that doesn’t look like its going to turn out very well. I fully understand why all the people closed the blinds on the bus. I wouldn’t want to look out and see my death either.

Purbosky: Cliff Hanger

Cool looking image. The ocean almost looks like lava with the sun reflection. I really like the colors used in this image and the motion blur on the blades. Good Job.

Fcharr: last Page

Oh no! The purple leotard reminds me of the Cirque Soleil acrobat that fell recently and died. Very dangerous career choice. Hopefully there is a big trampoline below her.

OLG: Climax or Denouement

Very nice image. If you were competing you might have won. I think all around you did a great job.

Joshwinkler3D: Non-Competing

Wait didn’t I already talk about you!? Hahahahahah Nice literal take on the theme.

Helge: 08/15

For some reason I want to eat your snail, it looks like candy.

RobertT: The cliff-clenchers of callisto

Another questions sir, do you make up stuff as you go along (happy accidents) or do you have that image in your head before you start?

Nice Entries everyone

Thanks @icyou520 for the feedback - yeah I got 2 in this time  Regarding my main entry, was curious to see how many people would pick up the reference for it (Italian Job, the 60’s British movie) . I need to figure out micro-details, it would have improved the final image.

@3dnotguru Congrats, that was quite a close race to the finish but you pulled ahead in the end.

Thank you  I didn’t know :open_mouth: When modifying her face, I tried to emulate Dr. Staple from Glass. The purple was like Mr. Glass’ color.

@3dnotguru congrats on the win, had you pegged as the winner in a toss up with @joshwinkler3d

@icyou520 yeah the chute was a cloth sim. Between the rock particles and the landscape subdivisions for three different sections of mountain sides I think I heard my laptop say some rather colorful words when I finally hit F12. But the little trooper just chugged right along and never took a smoke break hehehe

@3dnotguru, big congrats!

@icyou520, thank you. Still not great at hair particle systems but working at getting better.

Great job everyone.

Literally zero votes :stuck_out_tongue: That’s a uniquem, No more shortcuts!

Congrats, 3dnotguru!!!

Thanks. Great entries and great race this week.

It actually isn’t. Those were supposed to be left over parts of an accident. Sadly, I didn’t have the time to make it look more chaotic.

(and I should’ve looked up what CBD meant before naming the robot after that. Oh well, too late now)

For of us that know who he is though dont think “that” cbd was first thought. I know first for me was C.razy B.us D.river then i seen the poster and sniffled a little at the missing apple.

Yeah, my first thought was Crazy Bus Driver as well, but I looked it up now that you mentioned it. Hehe. It also means Central Business District as I learned in a human geography class last semester.

Most of the time I prefer to proceed with very clear ideas and imaginings in my projects, but there are often welcome situations when I tap into my inner Bob Ross and pursue creative opportunities as they arise and inspire new directions
