After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared: The voting will close on: Wed, Jun 26, 2019 11:00 PM.
The winner picks the theme for next week.

If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.

Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.

This week my votes go to MatthewK’s AtSea_TheStorm_06-23-19_v2 (yikes!), pelemele’s Not so far ? (particularly effective composition), and Millani’s Captain Kettlehead (toss up between this and ypsilon’s MayDay, like the lighting on this better). Also enjoyed ypsilon’s MayDay - Fear and panic offshore (almost voted for it), FlyingBanana’s CervANTes (cute!), MadeWithFeet’s OceanMaster 2 (evocative), PyBlend’s Steampunk Sub (the low-poly background really sets it off), purbosky’s Kraken Rising (cute!), fcharr’s Bottled (made the most out of simple elements), and Peetie’s Hexa Coral (nice effect).

Congrats everyone. Great entries. Number 1 and 2 were as I predicted. Double congrats to the both of you!

And… the winner of Weekend Challenge 835 with votes from 66% of the voters is… MatthewK!
Here’s to all the great participators…

It doesn’t seem to have hurt the entry! Nicely done

But if you should ever want to change a future entry’s title - just let me know. This is something I can still do after the voting started.
