That could be denoising artifacts… Maybe tweaking these setting or rendering with more samples can solve this issue.

Thanks but its not over yet, still time for other entries

OK I will try rendering without denoising and with 1000 samples…

I thought Eevee supports motion blur only for camera movement? How have you managed to skip motion blur on blue guy?

Dance of the Seasons

Pure entry. Everything made in Blender, only procedural textures.

The image is based on a song called Sonnenreigen from the German band Faun. The song compares the change of season with a round dance where you change your partner as the season changes, and the singer longs for the summer during the long winter nights.

I tried to make it look like the Sun and the Moon are dancing around the Earth. I wanted to add some flowers to the grassy part, but I decided to call it finished.

Hi… Could you please show me how to make this underwater look in blender? The reflections waves and lighting? How did you make her hair float? By combing it that way???

I’ve attached the source .blender file so you can see yourself  It’s basically plane with Ocean modifier + Scene Reflection and Refraction enabled + Material setup with Fresnel and Reflection Plane on top of it so reflection can be seen (Eevee by default doesn’t reflect anything you cannot already see on the screen, so reflection planes are needed for any extra reflections to be visible).

My system doesn’t support eevee… Can you guide me about cycles settings?

Ooops I forgot to mention that I added the motion blur in Photoshop, I’m so very sorry. :sob:

I usually do motion and depth blurs in post compositing and never bother with motion blurs from the 3d software for more control and quicker renders, so I don’t really know how motion blur works in blender cycles or eevee.

Buuuutt…allow me to make it up by sharing a way of doing what I did in Photoshop but in blenders compositor.

This is done using a mask that can be created using rendered polygon alphas, image editing software or the compositors elipse mask.

Unfortunately I never even attempted Cycles because my computer is too slow
