Pure entry, 1000 samples. I went micro displacement happy on my entry this week. Got to a point where blender ran out of memory, and I had to edit my meshes to avoid this. I have an RX 580 on my computer (cost me about 200$), turns out that when the going gets tough, OpenCL is kind of buggy. So I had to render this using CPU render.
Roots - Pure
wanted to do a mask because it the first thing that to came to mind. I wanted to depict a traditional African mask but the colours didn’t turn out too well but i enjoyed making the forms and shapes.

This is the first time i´m taking part in this.
I think it is Pure, I used an hdri from hdrihaven.com. The rest is made by me.
