Here’s mine. Well I’ve never done something in Blender quite like this. A “map” of cosmic microwave background radiation made in Blender using nodes. Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation is the radiation leftover after the big bang. It’s everywhere and it was discovered by accident in the 1960s when AT&T engineers where trying to make an antenna. It is now a favorite subject of Cosmologists who try to figure out the origin of the universe. They were also discovered by me by accident while I was trying to make a star field similar to @dragerx001 's image and decided that he CMBR map would be more interesting and more fun. It is great to adjust the W factor on the Musgrave, Voronoi, and noise textures and create my own universes. ![]()
Some stats:
Render: Eevee
Samples: 1 (yes, just 1)
Render time: 0.27 seconds
Fun fact about CMBR and old CRT TV sets and noise/snow. About 1% of that noise is CMBR and you can see those particles individually by adjusting those picture quality settings on the TV. I did it once when I was a kid but I forgot what exactly I did. Something about turning down the brightness and adjusting the tint.
