“There are two main goals for these contests: Fun and Glory.
Fun: You get only 4 days to create a cool image, based on the theme for the week.
Glory: After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared. The winner picks the theme for next week.”
That’s what I had in mind when I came up with the title It could be such a machine or all possible and impossible types of fantasy machines that do and produce whatever you want (The-water-to-beer-o-matic e.g. ). Or a machine that does your job for you?
Last dance before the power went out
Pure cycles 2048 samples, opendenoiser, rendertime ~4 min., all made in blender, just the texture for the bottle is made in gimp. I wanted to do a simple animated scene, but it went in a more complex not animated one.
Pure entry, the tile material was taken from a previous entry.
Unbelievably, you can now wash and dry your hair while doing your laundry. Afraid you’ll be interrupted by nature’s call? Worry not, we have you covered! Our patented, not dubious at all, water and hot air distribution system insures minimal waste.
My picture looks so dark from my office monitor at work, i can hardly read the bottle text. But for normal work the brightness is ok. Weird. At home with my IPS i can see all details.
Indeed! I had a centipede robot in mind which wouldn’t move its legs, but instead constantly disassembles its last segment and uses the parts to build a new first segment. Unfortunately this didn’t fit into the timeframe very well.
Unfortunately, I had no time at all in the last few days, but I really wanted to take part in the topic I had chosen. Somehow I managed to build this today in about 2 1/2 hours with a lot of objects that I built in the past for other pictures or training purposes and also with external objects. I built the ball of tubes in the middle with an old and apparently abandoned addon called “Piperator”.
So it’s really “Open” and of course “Non Competing” anyway
