After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared: The voting will close on: Wed, Jan 12, 2022 11:00 PM.
The winner picks the theme for next week.

If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.

Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.

(The ships I made a while ago and decided I would reuse them in this.)

planet Mars (image of ESA, OSIRIS, 2007),
display made in Inkscape,
stickmen made in Inkscape.)

Jeremy_White1: Failed Landing

(Everything made in Blender with Cycles except:
Terrain made in Gaea
Cloud VDB Import)

Well I could have done none competing this week because I had something like this I was working on for a NASA project for mars living habitat competition a few years ago.
The habitat is on the right side little spheres imbedded in the rock. :yum:

Thank you, only doing it occasionally now. Glad to see someone comes back too :grinning:

What is this below the spheres! Mars brain attacks!

So whats happens after strange Suzanne destroy
maybe(Mars destruction, Welcome to the Galaxy)

Aircraft inspired by David Revoy sketch and mix with hammer fish(also David sketch used in one of CGCookie tutorials)

And… the winner of Weekend Challenge 968 with votes from 47.4% of the voters is… david.speer!
Here’s to all the great participators…

Hurry up! It might be early, but it is about time:

LoL. Naa Mass.
Mars is a rocky red planet with dirt, but I went with rock formation and made the habitat inside of the rock formation.
The spheres are just the opening to the actual interer if the inhabitants which can go as big as is needed for living conditions.
Everything is custom made all the way to the atmosphere and the sun flare. :yum::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I forgot you won’t find any atmosphere it’s one of my personal atmospheres and so is the lens flare you won’t find it anywhere on the internet it all works in real time and when it is animated. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I might try to be in this one not really sure.
I might model the watch on my wrist and use a caliper for measuring if I do.
I’ll bring everything I can out if I do compete this week guys.
Everyone likes my watch. :relaxed:
And good luck wreath I’m in or not.
And I’m still in the early blender program like 2.91 I’ll have to upgrade my blender program and catch up to you guys. :yum:

Congrats! It is important to have a default cube on Mars, the origin of everything :sunglasses:
