During covid19 I started to make Blender birthday cakes for friends. It’s an old model and the nodes are messed up after the last update but I still want to share it with you all I won’t be able to do anything else or improve it since I’m flying to Finland tomorrow, hence the flag too

This week’s things I learned - how to make an array follow a spiral; built and rigged a posable character. Duplicate like crazy…(I’ve always liked the little figures in that Escher drawing).

Many years ago we had a lady at work who didn’t want everyone to know it was her birthday. (Happens at a certain age). So we had her cake in the keypunch room instead of the lunch room. Once all the candles were lit, it set of the smoke detector and fire alarm, the whole building had to evacuate - because of her birthday. So the whole company knew…
