I wanted to make something like this but the tutorial on youtube got deleted by the owner which I’m not lucky to complete it but mange to take some shot.
so what I wanna know is that how did he change the color of the extrude text (that pink area or extrude area). The tutorial is only short minutes only and he did it only on 1 single mesh the extruded text only and some shaders of what I remember, please help.
IDK how he did that, but if I were going to do that, I’d, at first, convert the text into a mesh (that will allow me to apply different materials to the mesh) and there you go: material №1’s gonna be for the front part (letters) while the material №2’s for the extruded part. That’s it.
Another option is to use the Solidify modifier on the text object, and use the Material Offset settings to assign different materials to the various parts.
Main advantage of this is that you can keep your text editable, if needed.
