i have a gtx 580 and it rocks. I would like to use it for cycles but how do i set blender to uses the gpu. where there used to be device for choosing cpu or gpu there is now feature set.

In 2.61 it is in the render settings, in later builds it is in User Preferences > System > Compute Device
