change material of some objects at the same time 2.5x

Hi
are there any way to change the material of some objects at the same time
for example:
I have selected 4 red cube and wanted to change all 4 to green, but only 1 is changed.

Select all the objects you want to share the same material, being careful to select one using the CORRECT material at the very last. Then press ctrl+L and choose the “materials” option. This causes all those objects to share the same material. Now whenever you change that material (on any of the objects) all the others will update with it. Is that what you’re looking for?
