change origin object default position

How can I change the default start position for Alt+G.
The mesh now keeps moving to the center grid floor.
Origin must stay centered in the object.

Alt+G clears the object location (moves to its world origin, 0,0,0). If you need to change where this is for an object:

Add an empty to the world origin. parent your object to this empty, move the empty to where you want your objects world origin to be

Thanks thats a good trick.
But it also means that you cannot clear the origin location to zero on another position
in itself logical.
Anyhow using an empty works great.
