Is it possible? - I realize this would probably be something requiring a script.
For context I’ve used blender since like 2.79 and I’m coming back from Zbrush to blender for sculpting, since Zbrush in Linux is terrible, but have gotten used to the Zbrush viewport & sculpting controls.
I have set up keymap(s) that do what i want - i.e. pan with alt etc., but this is blender wide, and I would like it to be sculpt mode exclusively.
I would be fine with making a separate keymap that i would set & use when I need to sculpt, like a “sculpting keymap mode” when i start blender. The problem I’ve had with this is that changing keymaps using the dropdown with custom keymaps has been bad as it seems to completely ignore a lot, if not all, changed keymap settings (even with manually saving userprefs & restarting blender, and also in Win&Linux across 4.1-4.2 - haven’t tested this in older versions).
I can imagine this being a very niche use-case, but I would really prefer not having to just re-learn the navigation for sculpting.
mb if anything is unclear, and any help is very much appreciated!
