Change World - change Material? [Cycles]

Hello Blenderartists Community!
I have two worlds in the scene, “World_Day” and “World_Night”.
I also have a mesh with two different materials, “Mesh_Day” and…
“Mesh_2” :yes:

Yeah. So, is it basically possible to tell Blender WITHOUT python to flip the materials when changing the world (literally)?

not that i know of. scenes would be better for this.

or you could make a node group with a value node NOT connected to the input, only the output. then use that as a fac in all your materials to set the day or night shaders. this way you would only need to switch the world and set the value in the node group to 0 or 1.
