Changing linked file paths.

I am wondering if there is a way to change the file paths for linked assets. In my outliner when I look at Datablocks or Libraries mode, I can see the path to which ever linked assets I am using, but I can find no way to change it once that link has been made.
A real-world use of this is if you have a character linked into many blend files. Then after animation, you find out that in half of the shots he has to wear a slightly different outfit. I would hope to be able to make a duplicate of the original character file, modify the outfit, then point the affected shots to the new blend file. This is done in Maya with ease using the Reference manager. Is there a way to do this in Blender?

You can CTRL+LMB paths in the Outliner.

If you want more control, I’d recommend that you take a look at Blender-aid

Thanks! I was able to change the path. Just save and reload the shot, and it all works! I will looks into blender aid for larger projects.
