Yes I have seen this thread: Changing sketchbook thumbnail

I still can’t change the thumbnail - in fact, I can’t even find where the option to select a thumbnail is at all.

What am I missing? Where is it?

Try doing it like the FAQ says, by using the thumbnail code in the image.
